The Barangaroo Cutaway is one of Sydney’s newest and most flexible cultural spaces. With over 7500 square metres and the capability to house up to 5,500 people, this unique space is adaptable to an array of functions – art exhibitions, commercial events, musical performances; allowing for multiple configurations, heights and views.

Interlink were awarded the electrical and communication package for the Wi-Fi roll out within the Barangaroo Cutaway Events Venue as well as the carpark. The project consisted of a new Cat6a R&M communication solution, Installation of Wi-Fi units, single mode fibre backbone cabling, Satellite communication racks and electrical services. This project came with its own unique challenges. Limited cable pathways, specialised access equipment required to reach 15m heights with no interference to the active events venue.

A seamless result was achieved through Interlink forming a cohesive working partnership with Barangaroo delivery authority and Tetran IT Services to successfully deliver the project on time with minimal disruption.

Client Testimonial

“Interlink demonstrated quality workmanship and professionalism whilst completing the Authority’s project. There were many challenges which the Interlink team overcome and solved to deliver the project to meet the Authority’s deadline. I would not hesitate in using them again for future works and I would happily refer them to any potential customer. Adam, Jarrod, Peter and the rest of the team overcame every obstacle and last minute scheduling change exceeding all of our expectations by delivering the project 2 days early even though they experienced multiple delays.”
